LITURGICAL MINISTRIES
Liturgical Ministries have a very important role in the life of the parish community. Greeters, Ushers, Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors and Altar Servers assist the priests and deacons in very specific ways. The Mass is a greatest form of prayer that we have, and the various ministries help to enhance the prayer of the Mass with their unique individual roles.
If you would like to become a Greeter, Usher, Eucharistic Minister, Lector or Altar Server let Fr. Pat, Deacon Mark, or Deacon Paul know following Mass so you can be trained and then put on the schedule for service.
If you are currently a Greeter, please make sure when you are serving in your role, you are smiling, and arriving at least 15 minutes before Mass.
Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors and Altar Servers please make sure you double check the schedule so you know when it is your turn to serve and please come dressed appropriately and be prepared. It is good to follow the scouts' motto of "Always be prepared," because you may never know when you will be asked to serve, and when you are serving, you never know what changes might be coming. As always, please try to arrive 10-15 minutes before Mass so we can be sure we have enough volunteers to fill in the liturgical roles.
